Cryptic Tweets Lead FBI to Believe Matt Rhule, Zodiac Killer, Ted Cruz, to be the Same Person
Lincoln, Nebraska - Two spokesmen from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Agent Johnson and Special Agent Johnson (no known relation), held a press conference today announcing the breakthrough that has been made in the decades old infamous cold case: The Zodiac Killer.
“Several months back” started the more special of the Johnsons, “we received two anonymous tips from the University of Georgia Athletic Department. One about illegal street racing within the Bulldog Football team, and one that we decided to actually investigate. That very tip caused us to dig deep into the cryptic tweets of Nebraska Head Football Coach Matt Rhule, and we believe we may have uncovered several hidden meanings.”
At the end of 2022 and beginning of 2023, Rhule was going viral for his tweets that consisted solely of emojis. Many thought they were just for fun and had no meaning, however, one specific tweet from January 23rd at 9:11pm allowed investigators to crack the code.
The tweet simply read “Smiley face sun emoji, full moon emoji, smiley face sun emoji, ¾ moon emoji, smiley face sun emoji, ½ moon emoji, smiley face sun emoji, ¼ moon emoji, smiley face sun emoji, empty moon emoji, smiley face sun emoji, ¼ moon emoji, smiley face sun emoji, ½ moon emoji, smiley face sun emoji, farmer emoji.”
Experts were able to decipher this to mean “The Zodiac Killer is now a husker”. That, coupled with the obvious choice to tweet it out at 9:11pm meant that he wanted all of twitter to “Never Forget.”
As many loyal readers of The Saltwater Press already know, many experts previously have believed that the true identity of the Zodiac Killer to be that of US Senator Rafael Edward “Ted” Cruz. Johnson(s) made it clear that this new theory was not replacing the most widely accepted theory of the true Identity of the Zodiac Killer, but instead building on that theory, adding more plausibility.
“Nobody I have spoken to has ever seen Coach Rhule and Senator Cruz in the same room before.” Noted the less special of the Johnsons. “Not only that, but Rhule was coaching at Baylor, a Texas University, at the same time that Cruz was serving one of his terms as a Texas Senator. And now, Rhule seems to have a Texas Recruit pipeline built. And we all know that Nebaska can’t recruit Texas anymore!”
At this time formal charges have not been announced.
